Day 01:  Across Myanmar border in North – Pakbeng (Laos)
This post tour will be best for those one ending up your Myanmar adventures in North (Kyaing Tong area). You will cross the border between Thailand and Laos. Transfer to the pier for taking local long tail boat downstream on the Mekong river to LuangPrabang via Pakbeng, a small village between Houeisay and LuangPrabang. On the way, stops are made to observe rural life along the Mekong, and to explore minorities.
Our services will start from Pakbeng by welcoming you to the Land of Million Elephants, Laos. Arrive in Pakbeng before sunset and check-in for the night.

Day 02: Pakbeng – Luang Prabang
Continue for a second leg to LuangPrabang. On the way stop to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff. Arrive in LuangPrabang in late afternoon, and transfer to our hotel for check-in.

Day 03: Luang Prabang
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. Back to the hotel for breakfast, we then take a sightseeing tour including visit to the National Museum, the former Royal Palace, WatVisoun Temple, etc.

Day 04: Luang Prabang Departure
Free at your own leisure until our driver picks you up for your flight back home.

For the trek on this trip the general rule is you will need to be very fit and the more preparation you have done for it, the more you will enjoy it. You will be walking with your day pack, with the possibility of extreme variations in temperature. We recommend that you undertake regular aerobic exercise in the months before you travel, particularly if you are not in the habit of regular exercise. Doing mountain walks or climbing long stair cases with a pack is good preparation (try putting a few bricks in your pack for real training). Walking, jogging, swimming or riding a bike are all good ways to increase your aerobic fitness, which will allow you to enjoy the trek to its fullest.

While traveling with us you'll experience the vast array of wonderful food available in the world. To give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat, generally not all meals are included in the trip price. This also gives you more budgeting flexibility. As a rule our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There's no obligation to do this though.

Passports and Visas 
It is each traveler's responsibility to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel and a visa if required.
Furthermore, you are going across to another country out of Myanmar, that may require you Visa application ready in advance. Please check whether your nationality in Myanmar and next visiting country Visa exemption list, otherwise you do need to have your VISA done before going.

Cell Phones & Calling Cards 
You may wish to carry a cell phone while traveling. Check with your cell phone provider if your phone will work in the destination(s) you are visiting. Myanmar service is dominated by the GMS technology standard, while some of the world such as U.S uses the incompatible CDMA standard. We suggest that you should check carefully or you may incur high international roaming fees.

Wireless Internet Access 
Passengers traveling with WiFi enabled devices (such as a personal computer, smartphone, tablet, or digital audio player) may be able to connect to the internet via a wireless network access point (or hotspot). WiFi access in hotels and/or cruise lines often involves a fee which, in some cases, can be very expensive. 
Please ask your hotel receptionist to avoid unexpected charges.
 
Trip Preparation 
A little pre-planning can make your trip go a lot smoother. Several weeks before your trip, make a list of what you will need to take with you. Make sure your personal documents (passports, visas, driver’s license) are in order and that you have enough prescription medications to last through the trip. We suggest that you make photocopies of passports, visas, personal ID and any other important travel documents and pack them separately from the originals. Pack a list of medications including dosage and generic names. 
If you lose the originals while traveling, you'll have copies for easier reporting and replacement. You may consider bringing a small supply of over the counter medications for headaches and/or anti-diarrhea pills. We recommend that you pack a portable alarm clock. Avoid placing valuables such as cameras in your checked luggage.
