Day 1: Luang Prabang - Ban Huei Leum Village

Meet at your hotel at 8:00 am. We take a drive to Ban Hatkang Village where we start our trek through jungle following hunting paths that offer a rare insight into the unique culture and nature of the Pha Theung Area. A picnic style lunch will be served on the trail.

After lunch we descend to the other side of the mountain and reach Pha Theung Waterfall which falling into a cave. Here we have a short break for relaxation, and then we trek to the village of Ban Huei Leum. We spend the night in the village of Khmu ethnic minority who host us with the amazing hospitality. Our guides act as interpreters enabling a fascinating interaction with the people of Ban Huei Leum Village.

Day 2: Ban Huei Leum Village - Ban Si Boun Hom Village - Luang Prabang

After breakfast at the home-stay we begin our trek through jungle towards Tham Gula Caves which is hidden in deep jungle. Here we take a rest and enjoy picnic lunch in front of the cave. After lunch we continue walking to pick-up point at village of Ban Si Boun Hom by the bank of Nam Ou River. Swimming if time and weather permit. Transfer back to Luang Prabang. Trip finishes.
