Day 1: Vientiane - Tad Leuk Waterfall - Campsite 1
8:00 am pick-up at your hotel and transfer Tad Leuk Waterfall in the Phou Khao Khouay National Protected Area. The Tad Leuk is a local tourist attraction amidst mixed deciduous forest. We spend sometime to visit the Visitor Center where we would be guided to the fauna and flora of the NPA. Lunch in Tad Leuk.
After lunch in Tad Leuk we take an easy trek to the first campsite, a sandstone beach on the edge of the dry riverbed. The trail offers plenty of opportunities for bird watching and animal tracing. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Trek to campsite 2
After breakfast at the campsite we trek to the top of the waterfall for great view of the surrounding area. Amidst clear bamboo and liana forest, a very large Burma Mahogany tree makes a spectacular landmark. Continue trekking toward our target today, the second campsite. A picnic lunch will be prepared on river bank. We arrive to the second Campsite in pine forest in early afternoon. Birds, monkeys and squirrels could be heard and seen around the campsite.

Day 3: Campsite 2 - Ban Hoay Leuk - Vientiane
Breakfast at the campsite. Today we trek through an area of old forest which is known as a habitat for tigers and elephants. Our guides will be able to show you the traces of elephants, often damaged trees and bushes or even footprints.
We arrive at Ang Nam Leuk Reservoir (Note that this area is inhabited by the Siamese Crocodile). Transfer to Ban Hoay Leuk Village for lunch in local house. We return to Vientiane in the late afternoon.
